Friday, September 4, 1970 RAIN

It rained all night, showers today. Carmen stayed up last night. I done regular work. Carmen helped, I cleaned kitchen stove. Went to town to do shopping with Betty. Heavy rain showers. Cliff did a little trimming on his lot today.

Saturday, September 5, 1970

It cleared today. I did regular work. Made rolls and a cake. Susan up to Betty and Walt’s. Cliff had Butch come and cut bushes on his house lot with a rotary bush mower. Lloyd called. Today Deming’s having supper with Susan.

Sunday, September 6, 1970

Open and shut cloudy, on the cool windy side. Had a cookout at Betty’s. Thomas, Yates, Crook, Deming and Hortons. On the cold side.

Monday, September 7, 1970

A cloudy dreary day. Betty’s folks have company. Es called here also at Ferns. Bill watched TV. I got supper. Deming’s here. Billie worked at Chet’s.
