Monday, September 28, 1970

Sunny in a.m. I went down to laundry with Fern and Lloyd to do washing. We did Aunt Ava’s at the same time. I came home, hung mine out. Went to town with Betty. Walt home at noon to work on his barn. Betty and I over to Aunt Ava’s in p.m. Also Kennard, Fern and Esther. She had a bad spell.

Tuesday, September 29, 1970

Rained last night and today. I done up my work. Called at Betty’s a minute. She took Zak to doctors. He hurt his leg yesterday. Aunt Ava better today. Kim up here. Walt didn’t come home until late. They didn’t work on the barn tonight.

Wednesday, September 30, 1970

Cloudy and some rain showers. I didn’t do too much. Worked at desk etc. Made some phone calls. Down to Betty’s.

Thursday, October 1, 1970

Partly cloudy. Done up my work. Betty, kids and I to Portland. Took Aunt Ava to Dorothea’s. Betty, Zak and I into town to shop etc. In evening I went to the laundry with Esther. Went down to Susan’s and she went with us too. Cliff and Billie over in eve and played cards. Got a new pad for Christie and Aunt Ava’s dog. Betty got a parakeet.
