Sunday, September 20, 1970

Another nice day. Deming’s here. Sue and Vince too. Billie worked for Lawrence. Walt’s father came today to make his home with Walt and Betty.

Monday, September 21, 1970 HOT and very hot

I went down with Fern, Lloyd and done my washing. Came home, downtown with Betty. I did rest of my housework. Betty and Walt began work on the barn.

Tuesday, September 22, 1970 Hot

A very hot day. I went down to Betty’s. She was getting things done in the barn getting ready to fix it up. New sills, jacking it up etc.

Wednesday, September 23, 1970

A very nice day, not quite so hot. I done up my work, down to Betty’s, helped her some. I came home, made a turkey pie and canned a few tomatoes. Kim came up and is going to stay all night. She is a real sweet little girl. Betty and Walt still working on barn.
