Tuesday, August 4, 1970 Carmen begins camp

A nice day, not too hot. Carmen went to mini camp. She will go for three days. Betty, Susan, Kim, Vince, Zak and I all went to Norway or Oxford and looked at trailers. Betty to Grant’s and did a little Christmas shopping. Bill and I called at Gordon’s in evening.

Wednesday, August 5, 1970

Cold today. Carmen gone to camp again. Betty and I went down, got sawdust for sheep. I babysat while she did her lawns.

Thursday, August 6, 1970

A nice day, I washed. Down to Betty’s. I worked at my desk all day.

Friday, August 7, 1970

Done up my work, went down to Betty’s. Dorothea and kids came up. We all went shopping. Groceries. Came home, got supper. Went down, got Sue and Vince, they went too. Bill and I down town after supper.
