Saturday, March 7, 1970 A partial eclipse

A very nice mild day. I done regular work. Had Aunt Ava over. Betty, Walt and family called. Susan and Vince also called. There was a partial eclipse of the sun here today. In some places it was total.
(Nanny saved everything)

Sunday, March 8, 1970

Cold, snowy and blustery day. It cleared about noon. Susan, Billie and I went over to Brownfield. Got a lot of Italian sandwiches. In p.m. we went to the ME Church for the Brownie investure. We was very proud of our sweet Carmen Christie Boutilier Horton. She is a Brownie.
