A cloudy cold windy day. Dot up here for the day. Rayburn came up and got her. Billie went over to Wilmot Lords with Lawrence. The Dave Thomas family spent the day and had Easter dinner with the Horton’s. Betty is better. Bill finished birdhouse.

Monday, March 30, 1970

A nice sunny cold day. Real cold when we got up this morning. 12 above. I washed. Did up my regular work. Sent money to bank. Down to Betty’s. Walt home today getting ready (studying) for his exams. Kim up here in p.m. Didn’t feel good. I called on Aunt Ava’s this evening. Betty’s back better.

Tuesday, March 31, 1970

Cloudy. I did my ironing. I went down to Betty’s. Kim is sick with chickenpox. Betty is better. I called Susan and Es today. They are getting along fair out there. I worked on my scraps.

Wednesday, April 1, 1970

A beautiful day. I did a wash, it dried good. I went down to Betty’s. Kim isn’t feeling too good. The snow went a lot today. A very nice sunny mild day.
