A beautiful day. I done up regular work, washed. Betty to Portland. I kept Zak and Kim. She got home about 3:30. Nothing new on her eye.

Tuesday, January 6, 1970

A beautiful day. I washed. Down to Betty’s. Carmen up in late p.m. Bill got a hair cut tonight.

Wednesday, January 7, 1970

Partly cloudy. I did my work, washed, cooked a dite. Called at Betty’s a minute. Came back, watched TV afternoon programs. Betty moved upstairs to sleep and give Zak a room by himself. Billie and I called at Betty and Walt’s in eve.

Another very nice day. On the cold side. I sent for Blue Cross Blue Shield agent. I reserved my subscription to B news. I went down to Betty’s to babysit while she went shopping. Zak sick. Fern, Lloyd called this a.m. Kennard called in p.m. Got a letter from Esther.
