Wednesday, January 28, 1970

A nice day, very cold in early a.m. It warmed up during the day. Betty, kids and I went down to Dorothea’s to get a photo of the Horton family. She had the car washed. Dorothea got a brand-new bedroom set for Jeffrey’s room. It is beautiful. Bill and I called at Aunt Ava’s in evening.

Thursday, January 29, 1970 MILD

A very nice day, mild. Cloudy in a.m. I done up my work, went down to Betty’s. Went to town with her. She got a lot of nice groceries. Fern stayed with Kim and Zak. In evening I called on Fern while Billie got his hair cut.

Friday, January 30, 1970

I done up my work, went to town with Fern and Lloyd. Did errands for Billie. Came home, did rest of my washing. A nice day, a breeze. Clothes dried good. Carmen to her Brownie meeting tonight. She came home with Bill. Billie to the dentist this morning.

Saturday, January 31, 1970

A nice day. I done up the regular work. Carmen out on a sledding party with the Brownies at the leaders home, Mrs. Ruth Lord. Kim came up here. Fern up here for supper.
