Monday, September 1, 1969
A nice HOT DAY. Today was awful hot. I came to
Northern Cumberland Hospital. My leg is awfully sore. I have hot packs and
heating pad on it. Bill down tonight.
Tuesday, September 2, 1969
Not quite so warm today. Well, started hospital routine
today. Gee it is awful laying with nothing to do. Betty, Fern came to see me in
p.m. Billie and Walt, Dorothea and Jeff also came in evening. Got some cards
and a pretty plant from Dorothea and family.
Wednesday, September 3, 1969
Not so warm. I didn’t do anything today but turn and twist
all day. Did a lot of reading. Betty, Fern, Aunt Ava called in PM. Bill in
evening. I got a lot of cards and another pretty plant from George and Thena.
Thursday, September 4, 1969
Another hospital day. Betty down in p.m., leg is improving.
I will be so glad when I get home. Dorothea and Jeff came up.
