Cold and windy. We went to Sebago and looked at a lot of land Walt wants to buy.

Wednesday, May 28, 1969 Planted Peas

It cleared off and came off hot. I cleaned up the house. Betty don’t feel too good today. We did a lot of odds and end jobs today. Bill planted first mess of peas tonight after supper.

Thursday, May 29, 1969 $5.00

A nice hot day. I worked at Dorothy’s in a.m. Betty cleaned up the house, washed kitchen floor and did a wash. In p.m. we went to Windham, stopped to see Dorothea. She came up and met us. Came home, had a cold supper.

Friday, May 30, 1969 Memorial Day, Planted

Showers but most of the day was good. Betty and Walt away most of the day. Bill and I up to Waterford, took Carmen and Kim. Carmen helped plant. Billie home. He did a lot of picking up and cleaning up.
