Monday, October 7, 1968 Rain

It has rained today. We sure need it. Bill measured the well this morning. It came in some during the night. I cleaned up the house. I wrote two letters, Betty Smith and Tom and Susan.

Tuesday, October 8, 1968

It has been mostly cloudy all day, not too cold. 50 to 55°. Done up my work. Got letters off, wrote to Esther, got three other letters ready to go. I canned tomatoes, made a pie.

Wednesday, October 9, 1968

The well had nearly 3 feet of water. I washed a little today. I cooked a little today. Christie and I took a walk down through the pasture today.

Thursday, October 10, 1968

I done up my regular work. Fern, Lloyd called a little while. I did some desk work about all day. Checking Christmas list etc.
