June 19 - 22, 1968


Wednesday, June 19, 1968

Cleared in a.m. and I did the washing. I cleaned up the house, washed windows etc. Busy all day. It was a pretty good day. Warm. Fog and dampness cleared away in the morning. Showers, clouds passed over during afternoon and in early evening we got heavy rain showers. I talked with Betty. She said she didn’t plan to come down this weekend.



Thursday, June 20, 1968

I did another wash. The clothes dried pretty good during the rain showers. Mild. When Billie went to the pig pen the largest and best pig was sick. Hope he Will be all right. Joy and kids called also Fern and Lloyd.



Friday, June 21, 1968

It is clear and windy, not very warm. I did another wash, blankets and bedspreads off our beds. Joy brought the girls over, Debbie, Kathy stayed here while she went to town. I did some ironing etc. In evening bill and I to town, got groceries. Then we drove over to Waterford and got his hair cut. He and Billie gave the pig some penicillin.




Saturday, June 22, 1968

Billie and Lloyd went to Oxford to Twitchell’s, took the Rototiller over to give fixed. Lawrence came up, gave the pig another shot. Pig was better in early a.m., later it wasn’t so good. Billie went with Lawrence in p.m. Fern up for supper. Bill and I called at Gordon’s in p.m.
