Baked beans. Fern up for supper. I had biscuits. It seemed good. Fern stayed into the evening. Billie took her home. I didn’t do too much. Billie downtown.

Sunday, July 17, 1966

A nice day. Picked vegetables out of the garden. We had a Turkey dinner tonight. Kennie and Dot called. Fern and Lloyd called in late p.m. Fern, Lloyd called.

Monday, July 18, 1966

A nice day. I did quite a wash. Betty and children up here today. Downtown in p.m.

Tuesday, July 19, 1966

A nice day, on the quite warm side. Dorothea to Portland to see about getting some work. We had our hair done at Pierce’s Beauty School. Came home, had Italian sandwiches for supper. Betty did all the ironing last night.
