Tuesday, January 25, 1966 Cold

A nice day, got my clothes in and ironed. Did a dite of cooking, talked with folks. Betty and Carmen several times. Bill quite lame tonight. Betty got a call from Mike tonight, he is coming over and he did, he brought her $20. He can’t stay very long. He wasn’t feeling very good, cold and headache.

Wednesday, January 26, 1966 a nice sunny day.

I done up my work, to town with Fern and Lloyd. To Betty’s. She got the car. They came up for afternoon and supper. We discussed Michael and his problems. Bill feeling quite well tonight. Billie and I called at Aunt Ava’s and Uncle Lewis’s in evening.

Thursday, January 27, 1966

Partly cloudy, some sun, snow flurries. 12 above. I done up my work, made bread. Picked my desk contents over. Got it ready to go to Betty’s. Fern and Lloyd called. In p.m. Dawn, Betty and Carmen called. Kennard called in p.m. also. Billie and I called on Kennard, Betty and Carmen, Lil and Fern in evening.

Friday, January 28, 1966

Very cold, windy. Bill up and his legs much better. They got off to work early. I got my work done up early. Washed my kitchen windows, cleaned up the kitchen. Today the wind blowed gale force. Very cold and snow blowing.
