Sunday, August 8, 1965
Today we done regular work then took a ride and back down to
Ferns and all of them had a very nice birthday dinner for me. Very nice.
Complete surprise. Mike worked.
Monday, August 9, 1965
Dorothea and I washed. Kind of cloudy. Clothes dried. Rained
off and on. Mike worked at Linscott’s. Aunt Ava called, we picked shell beans.
Tuesday, August 10, 1965
RAIN. Thunder showers. Real heavy showers in evening.
Dorothea over to Aunt Ava’s for afternoon and very late evening. Betty, Carmen,
Jeff and I called on Fern in evening.
Wednesday, August 11, 1965
Rain showers. We did some cooking. Randy Harmon and brother called.
In evening Betty and I, Jeff and Carmen over to Aunt Ava’s and showed them the
slides. Dorothea over there all p.m.
