Tuesday, March 2, 1965

A beautiful day. Betty, Carmen and I took off, went to the Green Valley Golf Course. Came home, ironed, done rest of my work. Billie home from work about 10:30 sick.

Wednesday, March 3, 1965

Another beautiful day. Letters from Es and Joy. Betty’s records came. Jeanette Roakes called. I made a pie, an angel cake dessert, had pork spareribs for supper. Dick Graffam brought a cow here to be bred.

Thursday, March 4, 1965

A very nice day. I done regular work. Took care of Carmen all day. Betty and Mike fishing. It has been sunny and warm all day. Letter from Dorothea and Jeff’s school papers.

Friday, March 5, 1965

Cloudy after a week of nice warm sunny weather. Rosalie Smart called. Bill, Carmen and I to town tonight. Betty, Carmen and I over to Aunt Ava’s and Uncle Lewis’s in evening.
