Sunday, October 25, 1964

A nice day. Bill and Billie worked on the barn all day. Got a lot done. We had fried pig liver and fried onions for dinner. They all liked it so much. Kennie, Dot, Fern, Lloyd, Bob, Joy and girls called.

Monday, October 26, 1964

A nice warm day, we did our washing at the laundry and hung it out at home and it dried very good. Fern, Lloyd called. I have been very busy all day. Betty down to see about the house they want.

Tuesday, October 27, 1964 Carmen’s First Haircut

Another nice warm day. Very warm in the 50s to 60s. Done up my work, washed up all the floors. Fern, Lloyd called. Betty and I took Carmen down and had her hair cut. Well the snaps came back today. Wraps the pigs tonight, very nice-looking meat. SNAPS CAME. Bill True, Judy McAllister and Fred Wentworth called tonight.

Wednesday, October 28, 1964

A nice day, on the quite warm side. Well I didn’t get too far with my work. Betty helped me as we called Esther and talked with her. Joy came over, we talked and looked at snaps. Betty and I called at Ferns. Late and behind all day and at night supper wasn’t ready and one other thing which all caused Billie to get mad and he is still ugly and mad when he went to bed. I don’t know.
