A nice day. I finished my cleaning to the kitchen. Bill got a birthday card and $5.00 from Adair’s.

Thursday, December 17, 1964

Partly cloudy. I ironed, put up my kitchen curtains. Done up my regular work. Betty and Mike out a couple times. They are glad to be together after such a long time and upsets.

Friday, December 18, 1964

Betty, Carmen and I to Norway and done some Christmas shopping. Delores went with us. Came home, the slides had come from Dorothea. We looked at them in evening. I didn’t go to town tonight.

Saturday, December 19, 1964

A cold day but fair. Betty and I to Portland. We got a slide PROJECTOR for slides with Betty’s plaid stamps. Came home, got Fern. Got supper and saw all the pictures on screen. We enjoyed them very much. Betty and Mike gone over to Don Roakes. Carmen had her hair cut. Billie worked at Lawrence’s. To town today.
