Friday, January 17, 1964

I was busy all day, had to rush to work. Got my first check for milk. Betty to town and done a little shopping tonight. Mama can’t keep a thing down hardly, she has lost so much weight. $49. $2.50 milk.

Saturday, January 18, 1964

I did a little cooking. Bill and I to town, came home, rushed off to work. Fern up for supper tonight. Billie had a blowout tonight on Betty. A good day. Mama not very good.

Sunday, January 19, 1964

Didn’t get up too early, rushed around, got the work done. Aunt Ava called. Kennie and Dot. Blanche sick. Betty sick tonight.

Monday, January 20, 1964

A cloudy, dreary day. I washed. Betty away working. I had to rush, went to the store, and late to work. Betty a little better. Billie on the blink now.
