Fair. Well I got Dorothea’s letter started. I cleaned up the house, also cleaned the back porch.

Friday, November 15, 1963

Fair, cooler. I got Dorothea’s letter off. I cleaned up the house. Bonnie here today to work at 3 PM. Got a letter from Dorothea and Esther. Grace walked real good today. $49. Smoked shoulders came tonight.

Saturday, November 16, 1963

I cooked a little. Had to go to work at one. Home at 8, sat up till one. Baby got me up at 3 AM. Betty down town for the night. Fern up in evening. Got a letter from Esther, Billie is in the hospital with pneumonia.

Sunday, November 17, 1963

Nice and sunny. I didn’t get up too early. Got dinner. Verna and children called. Betty took Carmen to doctors. He said it must be her teeth. To work at 3 PM. Put the smoked shoulders downstairs. I went to work and worked till 10. Dog tired when I came home. Fern called Esther.
