A nice typical winter day. I cooked some, backed Mama’s Christmas cards. To work. Betty back to town.

I did kitchen work. Washed floor. Wrote letter. Back to work.

Saturday, December 7, 1963

I baked beans, made pies and brownies. I went to work at one. Paid a few bills. Letter from Dorothea.

Sunday, December 8, 1963

Clouded up in p.m. I didn’t get up very early. Done up the work. Got dinner. To work at three. Dot and Kennie here. Bob and Blanche here. Bob got his Christmas tree.
