Monday, May 13, 1963

A beautiful day. Nice and sunny. I washed, our clothes dried good. We had a big wash. In p.m. we began in the living room, got it ready to paper and some of it done. Betty got a pretty Mother’s Day card from Mike for Carmen. Very pretty. Bob and Blanche over here to get greens after supper. Billie got tractor and manure spreader. They hauled out some dressing. I got some greens for supper.

Tuesday, May 14, 1963

Betty and I began papering the living room. Randy and Bobby Harmon called in evening. Billie worked in garden, hauling the dressing.

Wednesday, May 15, 1963

We worked in the living room. Got it all done and settled. Mama and Betty to Norway in PM. Billie fencing.

Thursday, May 16, 1963

A very nice pretty day, warm. I cleaned the dining room. Last night we got a phone call from Dorothea. It was just great talking with her. Also talked with Dennis. I’m dog tired tonight. Art brought his cow up.
