Friday, November 23, 1962

A fair day, not too cold. I done a small wash. Washed kitchen windows and floors. Fern, Lloyd called in p.m. Faye and Rick Linscott called. I went to town in evening, got groceries. Then up to Hansen’s to babysit till 12 midnight. Betty down town in p.m. Had a good time seeing old friends. Billie didn’t have to work today. $2.50

Saturday, November 24, 1962

Snow today. A miserable day. A sickening day. Linda Berry called in her own car. Also her sister Sally was with her. I done up all the housework. Betty sick. Billie didn’t have to work today.

Sunday, November 25, 1962

A nice day. Kind of on the boring side. Betty and I had the car, we went out. Down to Bessie’s, over to Harrison. In evening Betty went for a ride with Linda Berry.

Monday, November 26, 1962

A very nice day. I washed. In p.m. Betty and I called at Amy and Pat Linscott’s. Fern and Lloyd called. Aunt Ava called.
