Saturday, January 5, 1963

Cloudy all day. Mild. Bill put the new switches in the kitchen. Betty, Jeff, Dorothea and I made root beer. I made cake, pie, rolls and beans. Kennie and Dot here. Fern up in evening and for supper. No letter for Betty.

Sunday, January 6, 1963

Cloudy. Mild. Got up kind of late. Done up the work. Bill called at Gordon’s. Betty down to get the paper. Aunt Ava called. Kennie, Dot called. Jeff outside this morning. Betty don’t feel good. She has felt miserable all day. In p.m. Dorothea, Jeff and I went for a ride.

Monday, January 7, 1963

Mild. Partly cloudy. I washed. In p.m. Dorothea, Betty, Jeff and I went to Denmark, over to Moose Pond, looking at houses. Kennard called and Blanche in PM. Dorothea and Betty down to Barb and Phil’s in evening. Began using five cents stamps today.
