Nice in the morning, clouded up. Bob and Blanche called, also Linda Hatch. Kennie and Dot. Billie worked up to Chet’s. Chet is sick. Betty talked with Mike.

Monday, December 10, 1962

Got colder today. I washed. It got cold and windy. I churned. Betty feels so much better today. That was a good thing she called Mike last night. It did him as much good too.

Tuesday, December 11, 1962

I ironed. Cold. Nice day except on the cold side. I backed some cards.

Wednesday, December 12, 1962

Did up the housework on such a nice sunny day, on the cold side. Nice moon in evening. Mama down to Ferns. Betty, Lassie, TooMaine and I way down through the woods today to get the Christmas tree. We got it and a got in and decorated. LETTER FROM MIKE.
