Saturday, December 1, 1962

                          

Another nice day. We have had nice weather now for six days. I done up the housework, cooked a couple things. Betty to town, went by foot. Came home, took the car, went up to get Randy to ride for practice. Billie working for Lawrence this p.m.

Sunday, December 2, 1962

Had company today. Frances Harmon called. Kennie, Dot, Fern, Lloyd and Aunt Ava. Rowena called with Betty. Another miserable weekend.

Monday, December 3, 1962

Cloudy. I got my washing done, kind of cloudy. Clothes didn’t dry very well. Betty stayed upstairs all day. Sick. In late p.m. she went to town. She bought me a radio for a Christmas present. I was pleased about it in more ways than one. She made me happy. Weldon Brackett called in evening. Minnie, Donna and Randy called.

Tuesday, December 4, 1962

Fair today. Nice and warm. I done up the work. Betty and I changed the furniture around in the living room. We cleaned the dining room. Betty saw a large white cat down in the road. Betty and I went down edge of Raymond’s pasture looking for our cat. Gary Andrews called and brought my Christmas cards. Donna Mae Smart called Betty. I called at Linscott’s in evening. Minnie, Donna and Randy called in early a.m. to use telephone.
