Heavy rain all day. I cooked, done regular work. Betty downtown to Rowena’s in afternoon and evening. They went to the movies in evening. Ken and Dolores having drunken troubles today.

I washed. Betty got a letter from her husband. Clothes dried good.

I ironed. Nice day. Mama for a ride with Aunt Ava and Uncle Lewis. Delores called, also Dot and Lorraine. Betty rode phantom.
