Clear and nice in a.m. Clouded up in p.m. Betty done the decorating outside today. We got the Christmas tree up tonight from the woods. Blanche came home from HOSPITAL. Pig went tonight. Cow bred tonight. Bill started his weeks vacation tonight.

Tuesday, December 5, 1961

Betty and I did a big ironing. I called to see Blanche. She is pretty good. Cloudy and rainy. Cleared in p.m. Bill worked on Betty’s TV.

Wednesday, December 6, 1961

Fair, warm. I done up the work, finished backing the Christmas cards. Betty to Lewiston this p.m. with Molly and Janet Paine and Dot Wells. Holly and her infant son, Steve Lyons Jr called in p.m.
