Cloudy this a.m. Cleared off, pick some string beans and
froze them. Done up the work. Norma Gay up to Lillian Allen’s. Susan rode bike
etc. Betty went riding. I ironed in late p.m.
Saturday, July 29, 1961 Dorothea Jean Crook Adair’s birthday
Cloudy and showery today, in late p.m. was real rainy. I
cooked, got ready for Milan and family. They came late in evening. Brud and
kids called to say goodbye. Dawn called. Betty here for supper.
Sunday, July 30, 1961
It was quite hot today. Norma over to Stoneham with Aunt Ava
and Uncle Lewis. Betty home all day. Enjoyed it very much. Fern, Lloyd, Kennie,
Dot, Ken and Dolores called.
