Monday, April 24, 1961
Cloudy and cool. I washed and hung my clothes out back for
first time. They dried pretty good.
Tuesday, April 25, 1961
Cloudy and a dreary day. I ironed. A fire (grass) up to
Irene’s.
Wednesday, April 26, 1961
Cloudy. I began on my kitchen cabinets. Lloyd came up. I
went down town with him.
Thursday, April 27, 1961
A nice sunny day, on the cool side. I washed. Done some more
of the cupboards. I cleaned up the chambers. Betty had company all night.
Valerie, Linda. They went on a picnic afterschool up to Irene’s in evening. She
got a letter from Mike. She don’t care for him anymore. Bill down to Dr. Taylor’s.
I went with him. We called at Jean’s.
