A nice day. I done up some odd jobs, cooked. Betty mowed lawns. Billie off most of p.m.

Sunday, August 14, 1960

Bill over to Jim’s all day. I worked every minute. Billie and I picked peas and beans.

Monday, August 15, 1960 Es and kids came

Washed. It clouded up and showered in p.m. I got most of my clothes in. Got ready and went to Portland. Bill, Fern, Betty and I and met Esther, Susan and Billie at Union Station. We was glad to see them. Esther glad to get home.

Tuesday, August 16, 1960

Cleared off and was a very nice and clear day. Lloyd brought Es and kids up for a visit. We had a good time with them. Susan stayed up. In evening I went down to Ferns, Susan came back and stayed all night. Mike called tonight. Betty downtown. I ironed. Bill worked at Jim’s tonight.
