Saturday, July 4, 1959 DEMING’S LEFT
A very nice day. Well the Deming’s left at 9 AM this
morning. We enjoyed their long visit very much. Kids all cute and too active
for us old folks. I cooked some, put on some screens.
Sunday, July 5, 1959 HOT
Got dinner. Bill, Billie and I picked berries. Mama hulled them.
Betty rested. Billie worked up to Chet’s for a little while.
Monday, July 6, 1959 Jeffrey D Adair 1 year
Today we got a letter from Dorothea and a invitation from
Jeff for his birthday party. I washed. An East wind. Clothes didn’t dry very
good. Billie and I called at Lloyd and Ferns in evening.
Tuesday, July 7, 1959
I ironed and churned. A very nice drying day. I picked some
berries. The Redfield’s left today for Massachusetts. Dennis went with them.
