November 19 - 24, 1958



Wednesday, November 19, 1958

A very nice day. Ms. Kalwall called. We took baby to the doctors. I didn’t do much today.



Thursday, November 20, 1958 CHECK

A very nice warm day. Linwood tested out the furnace okay. My first check for boarding Bruce came. Kay up here tonight. I churned, ironed and did regular work.



Friday, November 21, 1958

Cloudy with rain and snow showers. I did regular work. Bill home again to help Linwood. Jim Chadbourne called.



Saturday, November 22, 1958 FURNACE TODAY

Today at noon we started up the new furnace. We all much pleased. Did regular work. Fern, Lloyd called. Bill and I went to town before supper. A nice day.



Sunday, November 23, 1958

A good day. Cold. Furnace worked good. Billie helped Raymond haul his bedding. Bill worked on furnace. We turned the deep freeze around down cellar. Blanche called. Also Aunt Ava and Uncle Lewis.



Monday, November 24, 1958

Partly cloudy. I did a big wash. We got Linwood’s bill today. $449.93. Took Bruce down to hospital to have his tongue snipped. (?) He is tongue-tied.
