A cloudy gray dismal day. Cleaned up the house. Bill home all day. We went to town in p.m. Last paycheck. Betty to movies in evening.

Saturday, December 6, 1958

Jeffrey Dennis Adair is five months old today. A nice day except cold and windy. I worked all day in kitchen. Linwood Hill came and checked the furnace. Billie didn’t work in p.m. Bill don’t feel well.

Sunday, December 7, 1958

Cold again. Did up the work. Fern and Lloyd called in late p.m. Also Kennard. Beverly Brown Harmon called to see me about caring for her baby for two weeks.

Another bitter cold day. Mike Harmon came here today to stay days for two weeks. I washed. Betty up to Dawn’s for a party in evening.

Cold Cold Cold.

Awful weather we are having. I done up work. Got clothes in and ironed. Didn’t do much extra with two babies.
