A nice day, cold in a.m. I took out the tree. Dr. Skillin came to see Bruce, he has a cold. Betty up to corner skating etc. Kay and Janice here in p.m. Bill didn’t work. Billie over to the doctors.

Saturday, December 27, 1958

Bill worked. Warmer. I cooked, done up other work. Kay went home. Betty to movies tonight. She is downhearted.

Sunday, December 28, 1958

A nice warm day. Did regular work. Nancy Dyer, Holly and Randy Smart called and Fern and Lloyd.

Monday, December 29, 1958

A warm day. I washed. Billie took me to town to get pills for Bill. We took them to (?) Bridgton where Bill is working. Betty up to Dawn’s.
