A nice day. I looked all my cards and gifts over. Dawn called.

A very nice day. I cooked, cleaned up the house.

Sunday, August 10, 1958 Betty gone away.

A very nice day. Bill painted back side of the barn red. He and I went to Lovell in a.m. and p.m. Charlie Weymouth called. Fern, Lloyd came up, took me down to their place and went in the field for a ride. Betty gone to Portland to visit.

Monday, August 11, 1958

I washed today. A very nice day. I ironed in p.m. Not much doing today. Missed Betty today.

Tuesday, August 12, 1958

I went blueberrying with Dawn over to Otisfield. I churned in a.m. Nothing doing.
