A nice day, cold wind’s. Bill fixed my washing machine wringer. I washed, did some cooking. Betty up to Dawn’s in p.m. and for supper. Raymond called. Billie out in p.m.

Thursday, February 20, 1958

Nice day, warmer. I churned, done up the work, got clothes in. Holly down. She and Betty up to Terri’s in p.m. Billie gone fishing with Horace Flint and Nelson Lambert and Sammy Flint.

Friday, February 21, 1958

Nice day. Got a letter from Dorothea and Dennis. Didn’t do much. Done up the work. Billie gone up to shovel off camp roofs up in grove.

Saturday, February 22, 1958

A nice warm day. Betty and Kay didn’t get up very early. I churned, cooked, done up the housework. Raymond called. Betty and Kay went for a walk. Mama came home from Ferns. Mrs. Hebb died today. Kennie and Dot called today. Billie fishing.
