Thursday, April 17, 1958

A very nice day. I went over and finished up over to Aunt Ava’s. Looked very nice. Billie cleaned up and raked around here. Up to Dawn’s in evening to a surprise birthday party for Holly. $15 paid me today.

Friday, April 18, 1958

Another nice day. I cleaned the shed chamber. Dawn came up. She got some chairs. Kennard called. Billie and Betty over to Harrison and got paint for porch. Aunt Ava fell and hurt her foot today at the first national store. Called over there in evening.

Saturday, April 19, 1958

Another very nice day, one whole week of perfect weather. Grass got real green today. Billie and I to town. Bobby Ridlon moved Dawn’s building for a roadside stand. Betty up there today. Billie painted porch ceiling tonight.

Sunday, April 20, 1958

Cloudy, some rain showers. I washed a few things. Bill painted on the house. I wrote letters. Kay, Raymond, Dawn, David, Kennard, Ava, Lewis, Fern, Lloyd, Kennie, Dot, Bob and Blanche and Bobby Smart called during day.
