October 5 -7, 1957



Saturday, October 5, 1957 Nice day No Rain

Cleaned up the house and cooked. Betty and Holly went to town. Billie home in p.m. He cleaned up outside. Betty mowed some lawns in p.m. for last time. Billie put the picnic table away and lawnmowers. Dawn and Steve took the black cat home with them this p.m. Holly up here this evening. Dolores called in a.m. We used the new separator tonight for first time tonight worked good.



Sunday, October 6, 1957

Nice day. I done some work down to Dearborn’s. In p.m. I went to Sawdust Pile with Billie, he hauled his winter supply for cows and hen. Mama down to Frances and Herman’s with Aunt Ava and Uncle Lewis.



Monday, October 7, 1957

Partly cloudy, some rain. I washed. They dried quite well. A piece of the wedding cake came today. Very good. It was sent from Riverside California September 26 and got here 7 October and was as nice and moist as could be.
