I washed, ironed and cooked. A very nice day. I washed on the porch for the first time this fall. I churned. War began in Egypt.

I went downtown with Dolores to get pills for Bill. He is a little lame. We called at Flossie’s. In PM, I got ready to go away next day. Things quite serious – Great Britain and France joined forces.
