December 25 - 27, 1956 Christmas Day

Tuesday, December 25, 1956 Christmas day.

Fair. Warm. Had our tree in AM. We all had a very nice Christmas, many nice gifts. One thing missing was Dorothea. No one here for dinner all came in afternoon and evening. We had chicken, roast pork, turnip, onions, shell beans, salad, celery, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, gravies, rolls, Graham nut bread, pecan, custard, graham cracker and lemon sponge pies, cream puffs, ice cream and cake, coffee and tea.
