Wednesday, June 13, 1956

A nice hot day. Esther, Fern, Betty, Susan and I went up around the mountains for a ride, had a very nice time and dinner. Had a flat tire just this side of North Conway.

Thursday, June 14, 1956

I cleaned up the house, did a lot of odds and end jobs. A very hot day again. Bill mowed some grass.

Friday, June 15, 1956

Another hot day. Made some rolls and did some cooking. In evening we went to Sebago Lake Park on a picnic. For Lloyd’s birthday. Lloyd, Fern, Es, Susan, Bill, Billie, Betty and I. Had a very nice supper and time.

Saturday, June 16, 1956

Another nice day, not too hot. I cleaned up the house, washed. Wrote a letter for a child to board. Betty went down to Highland Lake swimming. Went to town in evening. Little rabbit died this morning.
