I washed. Rained all day.

Tuesday, January 17, 1956

Cloudy. Snow flurries. I got in the clothes, cooked. Mama went down to Ferns for a few days. Billie to Portland with Dennis and a load of junk.

Wednesday, January 18, 1956

Sun out today. Very nice cool and windy. Billie and Raymond hauling hen dressing.

Thursday, January 19, 1956

Very nice day. I cleaned up the house. Billie helped Dennis haul birch bolts (?) today. Betty took Donnie for a walk.

Friday, January 20, 1956

Roger Lowell came down to ride Blondie. I cooked and cleaned. Billie and Dennis hauled pulp.
