Very nice day but awful cold. Bill didn’t have to work. Terrie, Betty and Holly went to the movies in p.m. Mama over to Aunt Ava’s today. Bill, Donnie and I over to Lida’s.

Very nice day. Cooked. Billie, Betty and I down to Ferns in p.m. Billie and we took Fern for a ride in his new car. She liked the car and enjoyed the ride.

I cooked, cleaned up the house. Very nice day. Billie worked for Chet. Took Donnie over to Dr. Ruby’s tonight.

Saturday, February 25, 1956

Snow and sleet. Bill worked for a while in p.m. Billie took me to town. Got letter from Dorothea.

Sunday, February 26, 1956 Donnie’s 12^th birthday

Quite cold and windy. Did up the work. Bill fixed chairs. Billie went over to Raymond’s, downtown. I wrote letters in p.m. Robert called in p.m. Raymond called in eve. Billie hitched Judy over today (?) $1-. Donnie’s birthday 12 yr.
