A dreary day. We took Dorothea and Judy to meet the train to go back to the service to Cheyenne Wyoming for 12 weeks school. Hated to see them go. But they are much better off than being here with nothing to do. Dorothea has had a good time.

A very good day except some cloudy in early a.m. Nice clear and warm in p.m. Daylight saving time. I did an extra big wash today. Ironed it all, curtains and all in evening. I cleaned back porch today. Billie began work today for Chet for the summer. Missed her all day.
