Picked up and cleaned up some of the house. Bill didn’t have to work. Dorothea, Bill and I to town and Donnie. Dorothea drove.

Wednesday, June 1, 1955

I cooked, cleaned up the house. Dorothea visited school. I ironed.

Thursday, June 2, 1955

Cloudy and kind of cold. I did a very big wash. Phil and Barb called. Called over to Carlson place after supper. Dorothea down to Barb’s for the night.

Friday, June 3, 1955

Very nice day. I churned and got the clothes in. Dorothea went to last senior high school assembly. We did a big ironing. Delores called in eve. D. B. And Bill went looking for a job.

Saturday, June 4, 1955

Cooked, went to town. Did up the work. Dorothea and Bill painted Dorothea’s bedroom. Betty went to movies in eve, in afternoon too.
