Very nice day, quite hot. Dorothea here all day, she did some mending and made another checkerboard cake. Mama not very good today. I churned. Mowed lawns, washed. Had Brud and family and Kennard up for afternoon and evening. Ironed. Raymond over in evening.

Very nice day, sunny, cooler and no humidity. I washed and cooked. Daisy and her lamb went tonight. Elmer Fogg bought them. Hated to see them go. Two nice pets,  the little one was so cute. We are going to miss them.
