Very windy and got quite cold in p.m. Bill and Billie got haircuts. Holly down here all day. Brud and Verna down from Massachusetts. They called in a.m. We got the cheese today. Mama a little better.

Sunday, February 13, 1955

Very nice day but cold. Didn’t do much. Billie and I took the mattress home to Joy. Betty went to S. S. Mama not feeling very good.

Monday, February 14, 1955

Washed. Quite cold. Mama not feeling very good, lot of pain in her eyes and head.

Tuesday, February 15, 1955

Got to clothes  in sprinkled them ironed. (?) Chet brought 3 heifers down here.

Wednesday, February 16, 1955

Billie worked for Lloyd today at N. D. Grain company. Partly cloudy. Mama feeling a little better, can’t see out of one eye.
