Billie home today, put on the storm windows. Rained awful hard all day. Bill, Betty and I down to Fleck’s in the evening.

Cleaned the grain room today. Cold but fair.

Friday, November 5, 1954

Cloudy all day. Didn’t do very much today. Fern, Uncle Os and Lloyd, Aunt Ava and Uncle Lewis all here in evening to see Joy on the Alton Brit show. She did good. Billie had a new cow come tonight.

Saturday, November 6, 1954

Very nice clear day. Did up the work. Went to town. Kennard came up for supper tonight. Very cold tonight. Betty went to the movies this p.m., the Halloween free movie. Oilman came today. Kennard came down for supper.
