Worked on Christmas order after got housework done. Dot Prescott called, Dolores and Evelyn Ridlon also. Mama down to Dot’s for the day. Very cold. Brindle had her calf this morning.

Saturday, December 4, 1954

I washed. Went to town Christmas shopping with Fern and Lloyd in PM. Very cold day.

Sunday, December 5, 1954

Very cold. Bill and Billie worked down in barn cellar. Aloha up here after Sunday school with Betty. They went skating. Mama up to Dolore’s.

Monday, December 6, 1954

Washed. Cloudy and very cold. Began to snow tonight. Dot Prescott called in p.m.

Tuesday, December 7, 1954

Went to town in a.m. Load of shavings came. Light snow fell all day.

Wednesday, December 8, 1954

Got Esther’s packages packed today and wrapped. Went down to Jean’s in evening.

Thursday, December 9, 1954

Got a box off to Ohio today. Backed Christmas cards.
